1. Post valuable & relevant content

If you want to increase engagement on your social media page, ensure you post valuable & relevant content. If your content is of value to your target audience, they will engage with it. You can decide the type of content to post by learning about your target audience (what they are interested in), your goal as an organization, etc.

2. Respond to comments

Don’t ignore comments! Make your audience feel engaged by responding to their comments. According to a Forbes article from social media expert Jay Baer: “A lack of response is actually a response. It’s a response that says, ‘We don’t care about you very much.” Respond to comments, either good or bad. This will increase your audience engagement and it will show that you care about them.

3. Do giveaways

Who doesn’t like freebies??? LOL. We all love giveaways, in fact you can never go wrong with giveaways. Social media giveaways can give your brand’s awareness and engagement a big boost. You can simply ask your audience to take a certain action to win a giveaway, you’ll be amazed how this will increase your social media engagement.

4. Ask questions

When you ask your audience questions about a given topic, product, or service, it simply shows that you value their opinions. Asking questions is a great way to spark up engagement on social media. Here’s an example below. We asked our audience to help us pick a logo for our business.

Boost your engagement on social media with emojis.
